Settling In

Greetings from New York! I am now officially all moved in and settled in my cozy little apartment. I'm right across Central Park and my bathroom shower has pressure controlled spouts lining its pipe for that water massage thingy (not quite sure what it's called) and it is all fabulous. I love it, really. I especially love the faux sheepskin wall installment beside my bed --my allergies might not like it too much though..

But I have to say, my favorite is the flat screen TV that is mine, ALL mine. (I'm in an apartment share which means I share the kitchen and bathroom with my roomie).

The plane ride en route to Detroit (port of entry) was somewhat poignant, but that all dissolved into excitement once my bus exited the Lincoln Tunnel and into New York city. Tomorrow, I explore. Now is the time to rest my tired tired legs and curl under my covers while falling asleep to HBO On Demand in the background.. Goodnight, all.

OMG Rache!!!!

You were in Canada, then you just got back to Pinas... now your in what.. NYC???!!! Hey Jetsetter... We didnt even have the chance to meet up!!! Will you be in New York for a vacation? To study? Work? Were you even able to catch your breath back here?? Oh my... what an exciting life!!!

Hope you have a grand time in The Big Apple!! I love it there! I would trade anything to go back in the day when hubby and I would walk from our hotel, which was a stones throw away from Rockefeller and St. Patricks (and not to mention all the nice botiques along 5th!)... all the way to Broadway to have cheap pizza at Famiglia...at 9 in the evening. Or marvel at how "awake" the city was at 3am while having burgers at McDo in Times Square...or have sushi for an afternoon snack after going shoe shopping near Wallstreet...sigh.. Live that life for me ok???

Lots of hugs and kisses!!!
