If I were to get married tomorrow at sunset on a higher plane overlooking the beach I would wear:
I just chanced upon the Lanvin 2008 Bridal Gown and thought it'd go so beautifully with the Giambattista Valli Lace Demi-Platform Pump I previously posted here. Although it is a bit too casual for my taste (I want my wedding gown to be this whole big production), I thought Alber Elbaz's masterful crafting of airy, fluid gowns would be perfect for a beach wedding. Can you just picture the light, flowy material billowing with a soft breeze? Dreamy.
Last Friday I did some volunteer work and was a coat check girl for Musée McCord. They had an event for the Reveal and Conceal exhibit and since I basically had the day free, I signed up. The exhibit was marvelous: all about the evolution of silhouettes and women's intimates. I was able to sneak some bad-quality photos with my cellphone's camera, but I'm debating whether to post them or not because they're so grainy.
Long-sleeved top and oversized ring, H&M. High-waisted pencil skirt (with belt), Zara. Lace tights, Urban Outfitters. Oxford booties, Zara.
Necklace, Get Happy. Canvas clutch, Aranaz.
